hard drive partitions

ok - i have 3 hard drives in the computer which are split across 5 partitions.

I am wiping the computer tomorrow for a fresh reinstall and need to figure out what partitions on what hardrives (i will be moving all my music onto one sata drive - everything else wll be wiped)

does anyone know how i find this out?

you could go into the computer management - disk management and in there it will show you which partitions are on which drives

Computer management? As in right click on 'my computer'. Tried that - would tell me what disks are available but not what partitions are on them. Using xp btw.

Right click My Computer > Manage > Disk Management. Or Start > Run > diskmgmt.msc

Ok try going Start - Start - Control Panel - Performance and Maintenance - Administrative Tools and you should see Computer Management - and then on the left hand side there should be disk management and then it should bring up the disks and which partitions are on which drive.

If not it's somewhere in adminsitrative tools.

EDIT: Damn forgot about the run command just use that!
