o I built my PC less than a month ago and I'm having a really annoying problem.
Specs;
Gigabyte z68xp-ud4
i5 2500k
MSI 6950 twinfrozr II
Antec true power 750 blue PSW
Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ
8 Gig Corsair vengeance 1600
No overclocking.
Basically my computer frequently locks up and restarts, at first I was getting 0x0f4 blue screens so I ran all the checks for Hard drive/memtest and nothing was showing up as wrong, the only thing was when I went to check dump files, there wouldn't be any. Now these Blue screens were getting quite frequent so I tried reformatting thinking maybe its a driver problem, but no, it still happens ill be sitting on chrome and all of a sudden ill try refresh a page and at the bottom of the screen it will say "waiting for cache..." after seeing that I can't open anything else if I try or nothing else loads, explorer then proceeds to go unresponsive and the computer will then restart no blue screen shows up now. Now here's the thing when It restart the screen will come up with "Hard Drive boot failure please insert OS disk blah blah..". Now I know you'll might be saying well there's your problem but I tried everything and checking my Hard drive and it says its fine, so even if I try RMA the drive I'll still have the problem of them saying "oh its fine" right?
Note: If I leave my pc idle ill come back to find the black screen saying "Hard Drive boot failure please insert OS disk blah blah..".
I don't know if anyone has any ideas or if im completely wrong in assuming its the hard drive.
