Hard Drive Question

Ive got 2 hitachi 250gb sata2's in raid and want to add my old ide hard drive in for some extra storage on the ide 2 channel, now i tried to reinstall windows the other night with the drive in along side them and windows wouldn't boot untill i removed it and reinstalled windows, now that my system is running again and established do you think installing the ide hard drive again would upset the system again? You can install a ide alongside a raid system can't you? And for any questions the ide hd has been tested and is working 100%

Yes you can do, I ran an IDE hard drive for a while with my SATA Raid0 array(long since broken up). It shouldn't upset the system at all although you will have to remember to set the boot order correctly.
