hard drive scare

rebooted my PC and it threw up a error on the bios about a hard drive failed, pin pointed the one I believe and now trying to copy 600GB across to my external drive.... wish me luck its a WD 1TB drive (will update with model when i find out)

once i get the stuff off i will run a HD tune and post the results up here i ran little scan on it and threw up a bad sector so i stopped it and just waiting for the stuff to get off...

Just to update this i got windows to scan and fix my hard drive and it lasted long enough to pull all my data off it, now what do i do with it, i don't trust it but as i "fixed" the errors will i still get a replacement as its still under warranty?

yeah rma it and they should send you a new one

I wouldn't trust my data on it
