I have 3 drives, 2xRaptor74gb, 1xSamsung400gb.

Which is best way to set them up? I thinking Raid0 for raptors, does that mean the 3rd drive is Raid0 or?

Some Q's:
Do I need to format both drives before installing Raid?
SSC enabled or disabled?
PM2 enabled or disabled? (whats this do?)

You can set up the Raptors as RAID0 with the Samsung as a standalone drive.

No need to format the drives before creating the RAID array, you'll need to partition and format the array after it's created. Normally you'll do this as part of the OS install.

SSC (Spread Spectrum Clocking) isn't required. It's designed to provide better reliability in areas where there is a lot of electrical interference (industrial applications etc) and as such isn't required in a domestic environment.

PM2 should also be disabled. It's a power management feature which needs a compatible BIOS, if your BIOS is incompatible the drive won't spin up.
