Ok Ive currently got 2 1TB Samsung F3 hardrives set up in RAID 0.

Ive bought another identical HD purley to hold FSX game. IVe installed it into my computer and it came up saying installing sucessful etc but when i go to my computer its not there. I went to the BIOS page and its recognised there but dont see any options to enable!!!!

you need to right click on computer, then manage. once there, go to disk management, find the drive. now, right click on the 'unallocated space' and create volume. this will ask you to format, do it if you wish, choose drive letter and size (leave default). after that has finished you will have a new drive :)
 
having it with split partitions won't cause a performance drop; raid 0 is faster, even if its partitioned.

i think you'll be ok to format that part and partition, although i'd get someone else to verify as i've never partitioned a drive before (never had the need to).

hopefully RPStewart is around today, he's helped me out a couple of times with hard drive related stuff :)
