Hard Drive Sounds

My PC is making a sound, I think it might be the hard drive, it is possible that it is a fan, but from where the sound comes from I think it's the hard drive.. It sounds like clicking, or like something is stuck in a fan, it isn't constant, it just started up tonight, most of the time it is silent, but a few times now the sound starts up, I know it isn't the CD drive, just every few minutes it kind of sounds like something is loose and bounding around inside, it's the same kind of sound as a loose screw in the case, if the case were being shook, but of course it is still.

Does anyone know good 'free' software to check the hard drive health, I have 3 drives, but really only 1 is used all the time and it was made specifically for 24/7 use, as it's a surveillance system hard drive(as in sig), I have a 250gb SATA storage drive, but it is pretty much never used, and I have a new 1TB Samsung F3 which I just use for storing videos and playing them, so large files are transferred to it, but I bet the total read and write of the whole drive is less than 1TB so far, it is only like 600GB full.

I kind of hope that a fly just went into the fan somehow or something and that the sound is echoing around the case.
