My other hard drive should come next week so I was thinking of giving RAID a blast, 2 1TB Seagate Barracuda SATA-II in RAID-0
I already have 1 of the drives installed as my primary drive with windows 7 on, But before I commit to anything I want to get my hands on some software to bench /test the speed of this drive while it's a single.
And then when the other drive turns up I can test them in RAID and hopefully I will have my own benchmark's to compare against
so I can decide if it's really worth it.
What software should I be using to check hard drive speeds? It's not something I've done before.
