Hard Drive Temp

I want to add my HD's temp to my speedfan gadget, however I'm having trouble getting it.

It doesn't show in HD Tune, speedfan shows nothing and won't detect anything :confused:

It's a Seagate 7200.10 250GB, I've seen other people with a 7200.10 drive with the temp being read, any ideas?.

Using Vista 64 Bit.

Have you checked to make sure that Speedfan or HDTune are fully supported by Vista 64bit? I think that is most likely to be the problem.

You'll need the latest version (4.32) of Speedfan to get temps etc under Vista64.

Yeah, says so on the site, signed driver and everything.

It is eneabled in Bios yes,.

I've just been reading that SMART was removed from the 680i Bios? and some saying it's still present :confused:

I'll check my bios settings again, might have been disabled.

EDIT:

No setting for it in bios any more
