Hard Drive will not transfer. Please help

Hello, think my hard drive may be about to go please advise.
Samsung F2 i use as a backup drive is connected via sata using a hot-swap caddy so i can take it out when i dont need to use it.
However when i try to transfer files from it it goes from nothing to really slow to nothing. I can still view the pictures etc on the drive just unable to transfer from it. Tried a different drive in the caddy and it works fine then tried a different sata cable and port and the same thing.
I need to get some files off the drive, has anyone got any suggestions to what i can do

OK so I've been messing about and basically on the drive i have 3 folders. Music, Movies and Pictures. The drive will transfer fine on the movies and pictures but not the music which i just recently backed up. Could it be something as simply as a corrupt transfer? Really confused with this one. Think its time for a NAS

Use something like hdd sentinel, crystal diskinfo etc.. to check SMART status, seems like bad sectors mate, sorry.

create a new folder,move the stuff you want to transfer into that folder and then try and export it from there

Try moving the files, not the folders.
