Wasnt sure weather to pop this in the Hard drive section or not but hear goes..

Just now i have a xp pro/vista HPx64 dual boot with a back up drive

xp - 200gig seagate
vista - 80gig WD
Backup - 500gig WD

All sata

now i just ordered a samsung F! 320gig to replace my 200gig xp drive as its failing on me, what would be the best way to go about swaping them over without affecting my dual boot.? or setup the dual boot afterwards,

thanks

Well if it was me I would just do a clean install of XP and then restore Vistas MBR from the disc (if you have one) then re-do the dual boot from there. But equally you could do a copy of the drive using a drive cloning tool like acronis trueimage and just copy the image of XP from one drive to the other. the only problem with that is that if your files on the bad drive have become corrupted at all youll be taking bad files with you, thats why I always prefer a clean install.
