Well someone started a hardcore thread just now, so thought I'd do likewise for HH. I've been out of the clubbing loop for a few years because of redundancy followed by low/minimum wages.

I followed Sundissential from 2002 onwards when it was at DNA. Enjoyed a few nights at Polysexual, Bring Back the Bounce (anyone remember that?), then B2T, Tidy Weekender and the usual Godskitchen. Best by far was Sundissential for the community, met loads of people from their bulletin board. Board seemed to have died a death during my inactive/dole days, so I'm appealing for anyone who is still on the scene and what's hot in the West Midlands :-) Have tried DSI (don't stay in) but still awaiting a mod to allow me to join the Sundissential channel on there.

Started with trance in 2000 but learnt the way of hardhouse in 2001 when i finally got out sundissential areana at global, since then done events like polysexual, XLR8 at the fridge in Brixton, riot events (run by the same people who run trackitdown.net) chemistry, storm @ the emporium in Coalville! Frantic events, contagious events, tidy events, twist

Havnt been proper raving in a few years now though apart from Ibiza, last event was storm, that was like our home.

Seems to be a resurgence in Hard House right now (which is nothing less than fantasic) and I am loving it. Meant to be going to "Vicious Circle Recordings Presents: The Hardbox Returns!" this Saturday at Hidden in London. Excited isn't the word :D

Can't help you with any info in the West Midlands but just thought I would chime in as a fellow HH nutter :)

I love HH but the nights seem to be few and far between around here now. Years ago there used to be loads and I played at a few in Liverpool. I used to love trance but then I saw Lab4 and they blew me away and got me into harder music! :)

I used to love a good sundissential and Tidy night. I sort of moved from hard house to hard trance (Goodgreef) but wouldnt mind a good HH night again.

Im getting a bit bored now of Dubstep and Drum n Bass now and fancy a change again. There are a few nights in Leeds, one quite recently with Andy Whitby I think

This was a storming night :) - http://www.residentadvisor.net/forum-read.aspx?id=27133

I would move this to the music subforum but I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE SAYING.

Yeah that hardbox returns should be the nuts :) shame glazby ain't playing since he retired, or is he coming back to do a one off for this since it was his label?

Should be some nice filthy hard house at that event

Not had a proper rave in years.

Mark eg and lab4 was always a cracking night..not sure the knees would cope with 8 hours on the dance floor now.

I loved late 90s/early 00s hard house and hard trance, but fell out of favour with it by 2004.

Then I had a brief resurgence in 2007, but that fizzled out in 2008.

How much fun are these spy/hard house mash-ups? :D

He came back from retirement for a one off last year and he isn't billed on the lineup for this one so I guess he is staying in retirement for now. I am hoping that since HH is making a come back a lot of the old retired folk come back out of the woodwork.

Anyone into a big of Hard-NRG too? The likes of Grady G, Narc, Kam-Pain, Casper (Just like Dynamite has to be one of my favorite tracks ever), Sentinelz etc.
