ok so my old setup was giving me problems so i thought it was time for an upgrade.

System is going to consist of the following and enclosed in a Black MM U2 UFO

Asus Rampage III Extreme x58
Intel Core i7 950
6GB Corsair Dominator GT 1866mHz
1x OCZ Vertex 2E 120 SATA 2 SSD - OS Drive
2x 250GB Seagate 7100.10 - Storage
2x 500GB Seagate 7100.11 - Storage
1x 80GB Western Digital - Temp Backup/Storage
Samsung SH-B123L BR-Drive
Prolimatech Megahalems Rev B with 2 Prolimatech Red Vortex 140mm fans (Push-Pull)
ATI Radeon 5870 1GB
2x Zalman 6 Fan Controllers
iMon Ultrabay
OCZ 780w ModXstream PSU

made a start a stripping out my old gear from the UFO then gave it a good scrubbing, dust wasnt the word

motherboard, ram, cpu, ssd drive are all in the post, should have some tomorrow and the rest by friday

im like a big kid here!

they are 120mm akasa ambers

the ambers are going though, being replaced with 120mm xilence redwing's

thats things so far, need to sort out cable management for the mass of wires for the fans, very pleased with the ssd and the overall performance. time for some overclocking

dont think there will be much more of an update to hardware, case etc to be honest, tidy up cabling, change the ambers for red wings and overclock.

i MAY look into watercooling at some point but right now, its staying on air

Looks nice, mind if i ask hardcore, are those 140mm fans on the megahelims? And if so, do you need different fan clips to fit them? Thanks in advance.

yea they are 140mm fans, they are designed for use with the megahalems, they are Prolimatech Vortex, you dont need different clips
