Harddrive becoming "squeaky"

Hey All

My main OS hard drive I think is on its last legs. It used to be quick but now its stupidly slow and has developed a squeak to it when accessing data. Would this squeaky sound be a sign of it beginning to fail?

I have had no corruption yet though.

I think your guess will probably be the same as anyones, new dodgy noises are never good. Make sure its defo the HD and back up asap. Also running hdtune health check might tell you if it is in a bad way, but it will more than likley miss something so dont take a good reading as it being ok.
