Harddrive problem maybe?

I get this quite a lot when opening a downloaded file, this can be quite frustrating when its a big file.

I had this problem on my last install. Hardrive is 1-2 months old. Always had this. I don't get this problem when downloading via torrent.

On my last install the system32 folder corrupted. Which prompted me to reinstall windows.

I also used a friends disc when installing incase something was up with my xp pro disc.

Any ideas?

it does sound like a hard drive problem if its been the same on both installs even with different disks.

Also, someone said on another forum. Disable windows firewall if you have a nat router.

Could also be RAM related so start the memtest86+ test today

Yeah it still keeps happening. Can't DL Eve -_-
