bcos amd cards are out of stock you mean?
oh thats the guy who does the videos with them 2 rly creepy looking guys who prolly not allowed nr schools
ew why even tweet him

i think its great aslong as they come with some big stock next year, they need to ramp it up ><

I don't think hes too fond of me as ive called him out a few times on his blatant Nvidia bias. He will report on the slightest AMD issue going but just ignores anything bad regarding Nvidia. Still i can have a bit of fun with a friendly tweet every now and then. ;)

he seriously looks as if he's about to cry at the end :D

the doegcoin comment seems to push him over the edge

if anything people will see amds drivers aren't as crap as people claim all the time and stick with team red

This Ryan Shrout really is clueless

I am sure most people who mine will also play games on their AMD cards.

AMD are making a fortune at the moment from inflated card prices - no problem there for AMD.

AMD are selling all the cards they can make - no problem there for AMD.

In 6 months or a years time when all these cards used for mining come back on the secondhand market at silly low prices, it will give gamers the chance to snap them up at real bargain prices, exposing them to all the things that AMD have to offer like Mantle. This will increase AMD market share in the long run.

haha just watched that video,
yeh he was crying! or he has allergies

where was the long haired one who look like he skyping from jail :p

Yea surely getting your brand out there in a big way is good marketing for your company whatever way you look at it. Most miners will most likely be gamers of some sort. His point is basically there will be no cards for gamers to buy but most of the people that are buying them are gamers who will no doubt try them out at gaming along with mining. There has been a post or 2 on here from people swapping from a Nvidia card to amd for gaming but also want to mine on the side when not gaming. It stands to reason that people want to game and mine for the rest of the time.

Is that why AMD is only selling full cards with stock coolers? They make more money that way, and they are selling all they can make. Why should they sell chips and memory to OEMs to make non-stock cards, while AMD can keep cashing in?

When I was watching his video with him wearing those glasses, this is what it reminded me of.

ocuk are getting cards all the time..

Yesterday morning I mentioned I was waiting for somewhere to get a dcuII 280x in stock.
gibbo replied almost instantly and said they had 200 coming on monday. (does an alarm go off in gibbos office any time someone mentions a GPU?!?!?!?!?)

I asked if I was likely to get one if I put an order in.
gibbo said yes.
I stuck an order in.

to my amazement my order got shipped the same day I ordered! as far as I could see the website status never changed from pre-order

Someone even took the time to write a note on my invoice lol :D
