Thanks Mickyfinn
I'm not sure what resolution the monitors should be.
So long as it's good enough for high res photos and can render text clearly I think that's all i need them for.

The EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti hits the perfect spot for that upgrade you know you need, but at the price you want! With the latest NVIDIA Pascal architecture, the 4GB GTX 1050 Ti displays stunning visuals and great performance at 1080p HD+. This card also features EVGA ACX 3.0 cooling technology...
I'm not sure what resolution monitors I need.
It's for hi res photoshop images and also needs to display clean crisp test.
I need them to rotate horizontally.
Thank you

I think the ASUS ProArt Display PA278QV sounds about right for my needs. It has a 2560×1440 resolution which is close to my Surface Laptop and this has a very clear screen.
Another thing is because I am also a web developer, I need to see what most users will see with regards to web graphics.
The price tag of £212.99 is pretty good but because I need two, It becomes a tad high for me. I could stretch to it if I had to.
I like the fact that the height can be altered and they rotate too.
Inputs confuse me as to which to use for a dual display.
My graphics card is the EVGA SSC GEFORCE GTX 1050Ti Graphics Card DDR5 and this has display connectors DP1.4, HDMI 2.0b DL-DVI
Thanks

Confuse you why? Use what's available. Your monitors will need to use what's available on your graphics card. Otherwise you can get various converters. E.g. for yours, you could use one DP connection and one HDMI connection.
Yes, because they are all digital connections. I use HDMI, but they are all fine.
After a quick look, I'd say the monitor looks suitable for your purposes. The only thing you could consider is going up to 32", as more screen space is useful for advanced design in Illustrator, but 27" is also fine. Other brands I like are LG, Samsung and Iiyama. I guess having advanced colour accuracy being billed as a key feature of the monitor is good, but most IPS monitors are good for colour accuracy, so it may not be worth overpaying for this. I probably would go for an IPS display type, for colour richness.
MSI PRO MP275Q - 27-inch affordable monitor with IPS-matrix resolution of 2560x1440 (WQHD), maximum refresh rate of 100 Hz, pixel response time of 4 ms, HDMI 2.0b, Display Port 1.2b and built-in stereo speakers
