Hardware monitoring tool

At the moment I can only do this in the BIOS. But is there an app for monitoring your system temps & other stuff? Can anyone recommend a good (free) one?

Yes they are. Start stressing the PPU to see what the load temps are.

Just had about an hour on TF2 with the recommended graphic settings (Pretty much everything up full).

Temps checked immediately after quiting game. They had raised to 40/41

My idle temps seem to have creepd up a few degrees on average. Should I worry? All I'm doing is watching a streaming video.

No need to worry then? The temps seem to be averaging out at about the same as the do when I've been playing a game (TF2 or EP2), which I thought was a little high.

They could be double that, and then perhaps wonder why they're high.

After playing one of the games I mentioned, for maybe half an hour to an hour, the temps rise to about 43 degrees.

Yeah? Cool ..... unless the 'Core Temp' tool I'm using is not all that accurate.

I'm not sure what the room temperature is. It's certainly not cold. I'm not doing any overclocking & I just have the stock Intel heatsink & fan. Everything is in an Antec Sonata case with a single rear 120mm fan.
