Came home from work, turned the PC on, the fans spin for about 1/2 second, lights flash and then everything goes out.

Try again same thing happens.

If I then turn the PSU off, unplug and plug back in, it boots up to the windows loading screen and then cuts out again.

Have to then unplug again to get the same stage.

Ocuk, any ideas?

It's an OCZ stealth I think. Running a core 2 duo, 4 gig ram and an nvidia gtx 260. System is 3-4 yrs old.

I would've thought it's a PSU issue, but I'd do what Paul said, and check the temps in the BIOS as well.

I'm looking to upgrade my pc anyway before bf3 comes out. Pos worth a punt on a new PSU to tide me over until I upgrade the rest of the spec? Can anyone recommend a gd 1? My case is an original antec 900 I think?
