Hardware Requirements For Office 2007 - not minimum

Can anybody advise

I have to do a rollout of office 2007,

I know MS show minimum but to make it run reasonable

what do you guys out their think?

Was thinking

RAM alone minimum 512mb for desktops and 1GB for Laptops

Should run ok. Might need to disable live preview though.

Office 2007 should run on anything with more than 256mb of ram OK in all fairness; although it really depends on what background services are also running on the clients.

Runs fine on my laptop with 512mb RAM.
