5 1/2" floppy drives ruled! 180k per side in double density. awsome stuff

Im loving some of this retro stuff. Seems like only yesterday I was using stuff like this though :( . The oldest/most rubbish pieces I have are; a ISA graphics card which uses 2mb of system memory. a 14.4kbps modem. And my mate has a 8mb harddrive. :D

is the ISA bus faster or slower than PCI ???

j/w lol...

i used to run 5.25" floppy on my Atari ST when i was younger ... got one not long after release...

R-Type ruled

I still have a p60 with 8mb of ram and cirrus 2mb graphics. The graphics are expandable though. I must add that this isn't my main gaming rig. :p

There is one thing missing here, you guys are digging this out of drawers, that is my actual graphics card in my main machine!

If my ATi Rage II was PCI, I'd be using that in my main rig also.

Most of the things I have pulled out of drawers were working at some time within the last 10 years, and they probably still work these days, though finding drivers for them could be tricky.

I had loads of them once upon a time, I have no idea where they went or how they got there, but long story short, I dont have them anymore, just my VGA card driver disk, when floppy disks where actually floppy.
