My mate wants to have a new Base unit and wants to know the best spec he can get. His budget is open. He definitely wants AMD. I know, Intel fans will say otherwise but he won't be swayed.

Can some kind person spec up a really good gaming system with a good AMD CPU, Ram and Mobo plus GPU?

Any help would be great. As said, budget is open. Ta
 
if he wants the best you can get, then an intel i7 would be the better choise.

also note, that sticking to AMD means its unlikly u'll be able to run anything like SLI as well.

is there a specific reason he wants to stick to AMD only?
