Harry Brown Film! (Michael Caine)

Can anyone let me know whether Plan B can act, don't know him by his real name, only his stage name. He's an awesome musician and curious whether he can crossover. He was semi-decent in adulthood.

Really want to see this, not heard much of it until i saw the trailer and the video for End Credits. Looks good though, always good to see Michael Caine doing what he does best, expect this time to chavs :D.

Went to see this last night, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I can see what people mean about the first section going on a bit, but I thought it worked well in building it all up. Michael Caine was as awesome as ever.

I saw this over the weekend and thought it was fantastic. It makes me want to not live in London though, very scary :D

Gritty is an understatement though! I was quite shocked at parts of it. I loved how it was all kept fairly realistic, with the little scuffles etc in the first half. Just showing how it really is, and how an innocent can quite easily get beaten up by a gang for no real reason. Excellent watch.

Incredible film, very graphic.

Caine does amazing as always and Plan B played his part superbly :D

Enjoyed it, though the part where he injected himself made me and everyone else in the cinema cringe, lol.

Michael Caine is an incredible actor.

after watching that trailer i deffo want to see it now, seen a few things on tv about it but wasnt really paying attention, i just saw the chavs and switched off lol

looks awesome!

I absolutely loved this film! All the acting in it was brilliant, especially Michael Cains!

Yeah he can, he really pulls off the lowest form of scummy chav brilliantly.

2 of my favourite lines from the film...
"You have failed to maintain your weapon.....*BANG*"

"He's a ****, his dad was a **** and he's just going to have ****y little kids!"
That one made everyone in the cinema laugh :D
The above words rhyme with hunt ;)

Please can someone tell me what the storyline is, ie is an old age pensioner getting picked on by the local chavs then turns on them all and kills all the local yobs?

Saw this last night. Film of the year for me, thought it was excellent, as did the friends I was watching it with.
Slow to start off with but it works well to set the scene/build the characters.

That junkie... Nice and realistic! Freaked me out! :D
You have failed to maintain your weapon!

Same here, bit slow but once he starts killing em its all action :D
Ill stab you with my ...... :p

Saw this this evening, an extremely good film, very gritty, foul mouthed, and British :p

They should make more 18 rated films like this, no holds barred realism.

This film looks like it could be a lot of things but realistic is not one of them.

Watching the trailer, I'm seeing a load of guns and explosions. This looks more like Taken than anything.

No, it is very realistic; one of the things i said to my friend as we were watching it was "this is a brilliant film but the most shocking thing about it is that it's pretty much all every day stuff you hear day in day out :("

The trailer makes the film out to have a lot more gun scenes and explosions and what not than there actually are, trust me.

A couple of people have mentioned about the start being quite slow which is true in a sense, but it has been done for a reason. The start of the film aims to (in a nutshell) give the audience a sense of just how bad the estate is and just how lonely Harry is.

It really is a brilliant film, one that is very different from what the trailer portrays. Everyone knows how misleading trailers can be!

Saw it last week and loved it too. Michael Caine proving once again why he's a national treasure.

It does stay grounded in reality for the most part. The final scenes where a full-blown chav riot breaks out stretch credibility a little, and that's where most of the explosion-y stuff from the trailer comes from, but it in no way ruins the film.

It left a little emptiness in me, I will admit -- I'd wished it stretched a bit further with the graphic and callous brutality (which would have made it a touch more real), but it's a fantastic piece of work.

I dunno on some estates that stuff could easily happen, personally I thought it was a top film plenty of realism
