Harvard scientist warns interstellar object blasting toward Earth ‘may come to save – or destroy us’

If it hits the earth I hope it has the decency to do it on a Friday before I go to work for the weekend.

I think getting annihilated on a Monday morning after dealing with that nonsense would be bad form.

But it's Avi Loeb, a nice enough person, but he always jumps to 'Its aliens' and whilst he does tend to follow the science, he could do with reigning things in a bit..

Or it could just be a rock. A big rock. A big rock that originated in some other solar system which is far more interesting.
