Hi all,

I was wondering :confused: if any one had any joy with the back dating of the Grid offer with any AMD products that Gibbo said they would honor.

I sent my details and order number to Gibbo as he had requested but after sending two e mails now I am still waiting to receive a reply, :rolleyes: I had spent over £700 on new parts (which included a new 4870 :cool:) in the shop in Fenton, and this to me is a hell of a lot of money that took a very long time to save, and I am yet to even get an E mail turning me down, to be honest I thought I was pushing it as I had purchased the parts two weeks before the offer started but surly an E mail of decline is going to go down better than just ignoring me, I currently have £500 burning an hole in my pocket whilst I consider if to purchase the new Hazro 24" monitor or wait to see how the Dell input lag problem shapes up with the new firm ware, although saying that I have started to look at other 24" models as I am starting to get a little impatient, I have always used overclockers for time in memoriam as I only live just out side of Stoke but to be quite frank I just might spend my £500 else where as I do not feel I have been treated well or looked after like a customer should be, to top it all I sent a web note copying in all the E mails I had sent and they told me to contact him through the forums....I despair.

Has any one else had any joy and if so how long back from the original offer was it back dated.

Also just checked Gibbos original post regarding the Grid offer & he did state it was a limited offer while stocks last , anyways mate see what the guys in the know have to say:)
 
Gibbo got swamped so just printed the order numbers and did not reply to the emails as a rule, only the first few managed to get a reply. :D

We still have copies and Gibbo has a box of them in our office as a "spare" box for forumers who need a copy for the back dated shipping.

How far "back dated" are you going?

Just wondered if i'm eligible with my 4870, no worries if not. :)
 
If its for a forumer I will send one out no problem. ;)

I got my 4870 today WITH a copy of GRID.

Seems a bit hit and miss or maybe I got last copy :)

Still not had time to install said 4870 though :S
 
You should all be getting copies of grid with all current purchases.

If the warehouse have omitted it for whatever reason (only human when packing 1000s of orders!) then just drop a webnote in to sales with your order number and they can send one out or add me to MSN and I can sort it for you.
