Has anybody got the k800i yet?

Can someone let me know where the setting is for how many rings/time taken before the phone will divert to voicemail? I'm clearly being thick but I can't find the setting anywhere! Was easy on my Nokia :(

I thought this was with the operator, anyways I know T-mobile says you can't change it and it's set for 15 seconds, strangely though on my k800i it goes straight to voicemail as soon as ringtone ends approx 10 secs.

You should be able to change it with the GSM code, e.g. for Orange:

**61*07973100123*11*30#

Where 07973100123 is the answerphone number and 30 is the number of seconds (configurable in 5 second blocks up to 30 max).
 
i got the K800i... mega impressed with it aside from that fact is SERIOUSLY needs a case.

good job i didnt have holes in my pockets or i'd be taking pictures of parts of my anatomy all night. the camera slider sticks out too much.

oh, and also the fact i got white screen of day after 36 hours....

and the fact i cant go to a t-mobile shop to swap it.. i have to get a replacement from the internet as i bought it from the t-mobile website. how crap is that????

Does anyone know if it's possible to set this to go straight to file transfer mode when I connect the USB cable?

As it is, it tries to install a load of pain in the arse driver software every time I connect it up to copy photos across. It's fine once switched to File Transfer, but it would be nice if it was a bit smoother :p
 
Hi.
Ive made a load of 320x240 wallpapers for my K800, which came today, but for some reason, all but one of them look really blurry & pixelated.
Ideas?

And by fixed i mean messed around till it worked and ive no idea how i did it. :p

Anyway.
Ive got my K800 all setup now, themes, wallpapers, contact ringtones & pictures, shortcuts, ect;.
Ive gotta say, great screen, but im a little underwealmed. Maybe its just me, but i expected more out of it. Im not disapointed with the phone though.


Does anyone know if theres a way to use the second camera to take pics, or is that video calling only?

just wait until it breaks.

or until you film yourself with loads of fit birds on a night out, with plenty of 'action' shots, only to find out its broke and you cant access any pics, or names or numbers. :(

goddamn i hate this phone already. :(
 
Any one with a k800i de-branded it via wotanserver?

I was wondering if you can still install the MSN thing after? im sure i read on some forum that de-brading the k800 stopped you doing some stuff on the 3 wap site

Should always save your pics and stuff on the mem card and also make sure you do a synch everytime you add a new number etc. Only sure fire way to be safe, i do it all the time with any new phone i get, just dont know when they will break.

only had the phone up and running 24hrs, so didnt get a chance to do any of that. :(

Ouch then your unlucky, my first one lasted about 2 weeks and so far my second one hasnt given me any problems for around a month now.
