Has anyone else noticed how good the new C class looks?

I love the new C Class, I think it looks very nice indeed. The CL63 AMG particularly so.

I'm not particularly fussed whether I'm told this is wrong by somebody who is so up on car design they drive a Renault :)

Chortle Chortle :D

loving the new C63 myself

they've definately taken the design in a better direction for the new model

Anybody noticed car design is going edgy again. In the 90s it was all about having not a single straight line on the car, all curves and bubbles. But modern cars are all about shoulder lines, power buldges and strong lines ?

Probably down to Chris Bangle, he got slated big-style for it back in the day. Rightly so for his first effort, the 7 series, but after that, it could be said he was the first one to really bring that sort of look to cars and now manufacturers pretty much all follow that idea as you stated.

I really like the new C Class too with the sports grill and kit - particuarly the C63 but even the basic sports model looks nice

Hate the grill and bumper you get on the SE models though (and all non-sport models too)

UK cars will have both

The grill and bumpers shown in BigglesPiP's post are for the sport models

The standard models will feature the grill and bumper shown in your post

Personally I think the sports grill is far nicer
