Hey, have any of you got an example of dodging and burning?

eg an image, then another print of it with the added exposure?

If you just have a photo that has been dodged and burned and you wouldn't mind me using it for my sketch book then I'd greatly appriciate it.

The Curves tool is very powerful and you can alter the image above by just using Curves to look like the one that was edited using the Dodge and Burn tools.
 
I guess the advantage of using the dodge and burn tool instead of curves is that you can apply them to small areas of the image. You can also do this with an adjustment layer which is actually better because it's non destructive.

Misunderstanding. I didn't check the images (too big and loading too slow). What F11 said :D
