hi, i have recently subscribed to FriendsReunitedDating website after being contacted by a lady on there. Now she is not talking to me. What a waste of money. Did it work out for anyone else?
 
Hah, because she's decided to stop talking to you, it's the agency's fault? :rolleyes:

I've never used one, and probably never plan to. Meeting people at college/pubs/bars/work/shopping etc etc is far more effective, and more fun.

It sounds like she sent him an initial message, he signed up so he could read it and possibly reply, but she hasn't sent him any further messages, in this case its certainly not inconceiveable that the woman never existed at all and was just an invention of the site to get membership fees, certainly by the amount of messages I get from sites that you have to pay for* supposedly comming from women, I'd be willing to bet that its not an uncommon tactic in that industry, along with interesting, yet false listings, etc

@ OP FWIW, there are at least a couple of totally free sites that seem to have plenty of members, not sure if I'm allowed to name them here :confused: , I'd recommened seeking these out instead of the money grabing chalatons that you seem to have had a run in with already.



*Tendancy to sign up for free accounts on things like this while drunk, etc :o
 
Thats because they have no male friends ;)

Males can't be friends with a woman unless they are gay.....

Please disagree with me if any other males in here can honestly say they never have sexual thoughts about your female friends....

well actually i do agree to a point, but i've got some female friends that i wouldn't touch with a barge-pole physically!

of course even then, sometimes it isn't possible because if you're friendly to them then they end up fancying you.

If any "girl" that I don't know contacts me on any social site like myspace, etc. I will just automatically assume it's a scam to get me signed up onto a porn site or something. That's why I can't be bothered with dating sites because what's the chances of an actual woman being interested in me based on just what I've written in my profile. Why would they message me ahead of all the people who lie about themselves to make them sound better than they are?
