Has anyone..

Yeh and a lot of my team left sof1 to play it but I stayed with SOF1.
[WD]Gabelogan
Made [WD] in 2000/2001 ad team still going strong now, won TCL last season!

Shttin meself over this PC though, hope I get a new build that works great! Maybe I should have just bought the parts as usual and made my own like I have since 2000.
I bought a Hewlett Packard Pavillion in 1998 and then upgraded it in 1999 then sold it in 2000 and made my own since then but this time I was lazy and ordered a full build as it wast much more money but not much thought had gone into the transporting really as the heatsink was bound to come off!
But yeh Matthew (Zinc) and JOhn (Murder) etc all still play on CSS.

I have just seen this:
"Iiyama ProLite PLE2209HDS-B 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor"
IF my PC comes back to me REPLACED then I am going to order that too!
I am playing on an old 19in Iiyama Vision master pro which is good but out of date!

I did not realise how close Overclockers was, I thought it was right up north in Newcastle upon tyne. I should have picked the system up myself!

More like, should have built it yourself. Would have saved you a lot of hassle and worry!

Hope it gets to you in good condition this time mate.

I know pal, I am a lazy ****.I work as a IT engineer for a busy health care service supporting 3 hospitals and have built my own systems for the last 10 years nearly but this time I thought I would let them do it as my time is precious these days.
Every couple of years I buy some new hardware to enable me to play the latest games and then pass down my PC to my son then he gives his to my daughter, its been like that for the last 6 years!I get a new one, my son gets my other one and my daughter gets his, my daughter now has the PC I was using 4 years ago!

Sorry to hear about your damaged goods Gabe. At this very moment I am waiting in for my new monitor so fingers crossed. Hope you get yours sorted soon!
Might see you on sdcss server then. I am Heretic :)

I hope they sort it out for you. lol, you got me worried now as I'm about to order one of the Titan Goliath systems off OcUK in a few weeks, and reading this thread I live a lot further away from their building. :(

Thats the EXACT system it was pal, I bought the Titan Goliath with a GTX285 and a 64bit OS.
I have receieved the replacement though but did not have the time to power it all up as had to pick kids up. I am going to check it all out tonight but I did notice that they did not send the heatsink separately like I asked but sent it in the exact same way but this time it was NOT the same heatsink, its a smaller one.
I still dont know whether it's the same system 'fixed up', I hope not. Anyway as I say I am going to check it all out tonight and if I am satisfied I am going to order a 22inch Iiyama to compliment it.

SINCE I ORDERED IT THOUGH IT HAS GONE DOWN IN PRICE TWICE!! LOL AH WELL THAT DOESNT BOTHER ME THAT MUCH AS LONG AS I GET A GOOD SYSTEM AT THE END OF THE DAY.

Well lads I am on my new system now!
At first when I booted it up I heard the same crackling sounds at the front of the tower that I was hearing on the other system when I powered that up but when it happened on the other system it just r4estarted over and over again, that was main reason why I sent it back
Luckily this time it did not so its like so far so good.I have had some errors downloading latest updates it only downloaded 23 out of 25 and gave me an error code and was also giving me an error of I had the wrong software for my chipset on the board but when I opted to download the correct one I was prompted that I was downloading software that was OLDER than whats on my system so I just cancelled it.

This time it DID NOT come with the cardkeeper I paid for and also it was a smaller heatsink than last time but so what I can live with that if the system performance is good.
It seems pretty quiet too so yes I can see myself ordering that Iiyama LCD 22inch tbh this week in work!

Glad you got a replacement system. Hope you get the little software problems sorted too.

Stick some games on it and see what it's made of!

Yeh mate, I tell you what I am on my old system now to back lots of stuff up to put on my new 'Goliath' system but if everything goes well I tell you I will always have piece of mind buying from Overclockers because I have jhad good service here.
I reported it damaged and within 2 hours they had picked it up, this was Wednesday morning and they have got me a replacement before the weekend!
Cant argue with that can ya? I will let them know I am happy with the service.
This system I am on now has 2 HD's in it so I may just put all the stuff I wanna put on my new system on one harddrive then just put the whole hard drive in this new machine with my soundblaster fatality soundcard and its front panel too!
What u reckon? Should not cause any probs with hard drive should it?

Also does office 2003 work on Vista62bit?

Listen fellas I just wanna say that up to now yes I have had some teething probs with this replacement system BUT I am well happy with the way OCuk have dealth with my problems.
I dont want anybody to be sceptical about buying full built systems from OCuk cos of my experiences because yes I bought one that came to me in a hell of a state but with 2 hours of telling them about it they had picked it up from my house then within 2 days they had sent me a REPLACEMENT,not the other system 'fixed up' but I reckon its a full replacement so they have dealth with my problems in a proffessional manner and proper complied with the customer's wishes.
So therefore we should have piece of mind buying from these guys cos take it from me if you do have any problems (and by that I dont mean you paid for next day delivery an it was near weekend so it never came untill the following week) they will be dealth with promptly with your satisfaction in mind.

Glad everything is okay. My only problem with that build is you have paid £1000+ for top of the range components and you housed it all in a Cooermaster 335 i would have at least got the antec 300 or phones up and asked if could have had a better case.

I hope you enjoy it, get some games on it and try clocking your I7 to 4Ghz
