I can't help but notice computer development seems to have stopped in the last 5 years.
* Broadband is available to 95% of the population instead of 60%. This is significant.
* 3G is now available without breaking the bank. In 2003 you could only access the net on a hilltop in advert land (if you weren't rich). This is significant - as is GPS prevalence to the masses etc.
You could argue blue ray is just faster DVD, in the same way that all mobos have raid now, and 2 hard drives cost the same as 1 did in '03. And that dual cores are now entry level. And more importantly software actually uses them both. I could go on further explaining how you have got your premise for this thread wrong... but it really should be obvious.
