Poll: Has there been a change to the priorities of the performance enthusiast?

I just bought a new rig, and I didnt care about it being quiet AT ALL, its a bonus that its vastly quiter than my old one, but I wear headphones to play games as it help me hear where people are more accurately cant hear the pc over the headphones. I went for performance

Would say performance is the main thing for me, yet I voted on cost. Mainly because if I cant afford it, I cant buy it. Always comes down to the price for me when I build a system. Space and noise are not that big a deal really. Two years of having six case fans, CPU fan and GPU fan running 24/7 kind of makes one accustomed to the noise

Like others I want he performance but not at the cost of noise anymore. Had enough of jet engines.

Performance is still first on my list. Cost & Noise are a close second, with Footprint (size) last only by a small margin.

I used to spend a fortune on constantly upgrading my PC, for, when I consider it now, no good reason at all.

Exactly the same 'ere, so glad I'm past that stage, havn't upgraded for months \o/
