I just bought a new rig, and I didnt care about it being quiet AT ALL, its a bonus that its vastly quiter than my old one, but I wear headphones to play games as it help me hear where people are more accurately :) cant hear the pc over the headphones. I went for performance ;)

Would say performance is the main thing for me, yet I voted on cost. Mainly because if I cant afford it, I cant buy it. Always comes down to the price for me when I build a system. Space and noise are not that big a deal really. Two years of having six case fans, CPU fan and GPU fan running 24/7 kind of makes one accustomed to the noise :D
