How long since you bought? I would replace that i5 2500 CPU with an i5 2500k CPU if I was you.

You can't overclock the 2500, while the 2500k have an unlocked multiplier so that you can easily overclock it.

I once forgot to plug the cable into the PSU and wondered why it didn't turn on after repeatedly stabbing the power button

Another common one is forgetting to plug the 8 pin power plug into the mobo... oops! Twice I've done this now.
