Have decided to get a 560Ti but which one?

I am also very tempted by the MSI 2gb. I was hoping I could hold out until the next Nvidia cards come out, but there isn't even a hint as to WHEN they come out, with some estimates being 5-6months. Sod that :P

I'm running a x1200 monitor aswell so having that extra vram might be useful, especially considering the debates.

is there a big differance between the 1gig and 2gig versions? will get one, but not sure if i need the 2gig version? any advice?

just got the 2gig version, looking forward to it im upgrading from the GTX260 in SLI.

So my MSI 2gig card arrived today. Brilliant service from OCUK, delivered to NI within 24 hours for free - very cool :)

Card comes in nice presentation box, driver & afterburner CD, HDMI adapter, cables etc. Very sturdy card, which oozes quality.

Popped the case open & installed in couple of minutes.

First impressions is that its very very quiet. Fired up the BF3 Beta which I had been playing on medium/high settings & getting around 35-45fps. With this brute, it was around the 80-95 mark so hugely impressed (not sure why Fraps wasn't displaying while I was in game). Indoors something similar. Turned most things up to Ultra and was in the 35-60s region. Was really impressed with the detail on things like the Metro network map, ads on escalator walls, smoke effects.

Rage arriving tomorrow so been very keen to see how it performs.

Haven't done all benchies yet but all in all, mighty impressed & money well spent.

Mine arrived as well. Like spiki im very happy with my MSI 560ti 2gig.

Ive used afterburner and currently running at core 950 mem 2149. Sure it can go higher.

Temp wise min 30 max 79 after several hours of gaming/working.

Very very quiet can never hear it even when the fan hit 70%.

IIRC you can but it will use the lower of the two memorys as the available graphics memory. So it would be a waste as you would still only have 1gb available graphics memory.

Gotcha, so I'd be better grabbing another MSI 1gb and SLI-ing. Is it really that simple if I have a 750watt PSU already and the space?

Just had a round of Caspian Border, 64 players...avg about 40fps on high settings, temps at 48, 998MB of RAM used...looked fantastic and playing pretty smooth even with my 3 yr old processor. Money well spent on this card for definite. now time for another round :)

Hi there
Would the GTX560Ti OC Twin FrozR II 2GB be compatible with my abit ip35pro motherboard and is it a good match to a Q6600 or is this going to bottleneck it? (@3.2Mhz).

Yes, it will work with your motherboard. Your Q6600 shouldn't hold it back that much.

What PSU are you using?

just using stock settings n workn just fine
dont really know how to ok sonot prepared to take risks
but card us v impressive as it is n reassuring to have al that ram
