Hi Guys

Yesterday I was at home due to the weather and noticed an email come through my aol account on my phone for G2A for a £79.99 purchase of a gift card then it vanished( they obviously deleted the email to my deleted folder), About ten minutes later I went upstairs and noticed a few web pages open one for G2A and one for Steamcarddelivery.com,

Someone had been one my PC and tried to make a purchase it also showed on my PayPal account as that looked like it was accessed to. SO what can I do to stop this again is a full reinstall an option as Ive ran various software and did find a hack tool for kvm (windows office), Ive changed my passwords and un-linked my bank card from my papal account

Any Ideas and help appreciated

First you want to disconnect the pc from the internet, then change all your passwords from a different machine
Hi MrRockliffe thanks for that I did that yesterday from my laptop bleeding swines Im very conscious of security so gods knows how this happened

Have you attempted to run Malwarebytes on the affected PC, I would do that first, including a rootkit scanner, just to see if it picks anything up.
Hi yip ran Malwarebytes yesterday and cleaned a few things, I have a paid version of superantispyware and its run every day so dont know how it happened

I will run the malwarebytes/rootkit now on my other two laptops as Ive just done a fresh install on the mail pc

can't see it now, but there was an extensive thread on similar problem, someone remotely controlling computer/creating windows, was it an illicit install of teamviewer ?

Did not have teamviewer installed, I had just bought some screen wash on my laptop using paypal when it happened on main computer so don't know whats happened thank god payapl rejected the transaction

That's a bit heavy handed.

I for one use TV as it's a great piece of kit.

If you are using TV though make sure you're using the 2FA.

I too was connected to without explicit permission a couple of years ago. I just run TV when I need to connect to someone. I don't leave it running as I do not trust their security.

I've been using Chrome Remote Desktop as a TV replacement. Not as powerful as TV but it does the job for my needs.
