Have I done something wrong?

So I finished my build today, but not sure I've done it right.

I've tried to install the drivers and things, but I've noticed it's not very snappy at all. It may just be google chrome that needs reinstalling - I'm not sure? When I've tried to load pictures it slowly staggers the picture. It feels as though I'm using dial-up or something... Surely this machine should be rapid?

Spec:

YOUR BASKET
Intel Core i5-4460 3.20GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor
Crucial BX100 250GB SSD SATA 6Gbps 7mm Solid State Drive (CT250BX100SSD1)
Asus H81M-PLUS Intel H81 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard
TeamGroup Elite Black 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (TPKD38G1600HC11DC01)
SuperFlower FX 450W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply

It also feels like general multi tasking feels like a bit of a struggle. Could just me being paranoid, but I know the laptop I was previously using wasn't this sluggish.

Make sure XMP is enabled, ive noticed the PC been real sluggy after a bios reset, then realised i had forgotten to enable XMP.

also make sure youve installed all your motherboard drivers and updated them, then ran windows update till its updated windows completely.

Windows is doing a big ol' update, that should do the trick.

I don't have an optical drive (yet) so had to run the mobo disk from an iso version. The updates didn't seem to be too helpful if I'm honest. Inter RST service caused my computer to stop booting all together!

When I click anything to do with that chipset it says 'DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN' on my browser :/

How do I enable XMP? I can't find anything in the BIOS.

Is this still happening? If so press Windows key + x, click on "Command Prompt (Admin) and type: netsh winsock reset catalog

Press enter, and then reboot your PC and try again.
