here are the temps for the following progrms

speed fan under load prime.occt.linx = 55 max

hw monitor tmeps are 54.53.52.51 mx under load

core temp dont excced 52

so do i have a faulty sensor. if this is the case then surley the pc will switch if the oc is unstable but it hasnt

occt running for about 40 mins

prime now running for 2 hours +

linx completed 20 round with no errors

everest load test also ran for about an hour

i thought it might be too low. i expected it to be in the 70-80

my i7 ocd to 3.6 hits 70 but then again i have a rubbish cooler and my case is dusty

Does seem very low, especially in this weather. Could u remove the fan of your cooler for a few mins and run prime or ibt, and see if it goes up? If it does go up u have a bloody good hsf.

Being a Phenom X4 925 the max temp from AMD is 62°C, so you're within limits. The Phenoms are intended to run cooler than the Intel CPUs.

i have a zalamn cnps10x. with zalman thermanl paste

my idel temp was 21c

can constantly stress testing damage the cpu

ive tried

prime - 3 hours
IBT - high
OCCT- 40 mins
Everest - 1 hour
Linx- 20 rounds no errors

i cant do anymore than that

temps wont go above 54/55

Definitely no need to worry, I have a a Phenom II x3 720 overclocked to 3.6 and in winter time idle was around 23 and it maxed out at around 40, checked my idle temps now they are around 29and I guess with the warm weather it's gonna be probably closer to 50 on max, so I think yours is probably within normal limits

CPU's should be manufactured to withstand constant heavy loads, stress testing it every now and then is merely giving it a little tickle rather than a massive beating :) you'll be fine to test it more if you so wanted.

I think the limitation of stress testing it in this weather is how long you can withstand the heat from the CPU.
