Use a brush to dislodge dust but keep the hoover away from the case and mobo at least
Compressor user here too,i take the case outside and give it a good going over at least once a year.Taking care not to spinup the fans

Ive used house hoover in my pc for decades lol.

I used a leaf blower once (very young and naive at the time lol) and it pointed it directly at the fans... the fan blades broke off and disappeared into oblivion...

Household hoovers are a baaad idea, they generate a lot of static, can kill your parts

Been using soft brush attachment and vac on externals. Weekly, for ages. No static problems to date.
Static is often generated by relative motion between gases and nozzles. It's a hazard of existance
