Have i lost my data ???

Ok i had 2 320gigers (thats gig-ers!) in raid 0 and have reinstalled xp on a new hard disk, put the raid back on and .... nothing !!! :eek:

Can it wipe 300gig of info just like that in 1 second or is that info still on their waiting for me to recover it somehow??? Just need a point in the right direction whether im wasting my time or not... cheers fellas.

are there any raid recovery topics out there anywhere ??? :confused:

It will be on there, probably just the partition table gone. Something like Easy Recovery Pro will get it back.

Can you be a bit more specific about what you did. Did you disconnect the array disks at all? Have you made any changes in the RAID BIOS? Have you loaded the correct drivers for the RAID controller into the new XP installation?

Have you changed the physical connections of the RAID'ed drives on the mobo? If you have then try putting them back on the channels they were previously on, put the new disk on a spare channel, change the boot order and see if the RAID pack is recognised.
