Have orange outsorced call centres?

I just rang to speak to orange about setting up a direct debit on my payg account. However I got the joy of being cut off the first time with my final 25p being taken and the second time speaking to someone who didn't understand me and I couldn't hear them?

Is everything going abroad because if so I'd rather not speak to them! :mad:
 
Not that I've noticed. Furthest abroad the bloke on the end of phone sounds is Scotland!

Maybe they're not interested in PAYG though... Mine's Orange Premier.

Was merely pointing out that Orange Premier pride themselves on a better customer service line and give you higher priority, so it might account for the fact they answer the phone in 10 seconds and are always English. I didn't ask for it, I just spend too much money!

And contract... I believe they have an overflow call centre in everyones favourite outsourcing country :o
 
I ring the bank and get some other country call centre...... and now I ring Orange and get the same, sweeeet :(

I was going to set up a direct debit but for the sake of a quick drive and less hassle I guess its out with my top up card ;)
 
I do hope not, as if they have I'll be forced to move provider. I refuse to give my money to companies who outsource call-centres to outside the UK - already had to move bank once. :(
 
rang orange yesterday to get my PAC. First person didnt seem that bothered and no PAC was sent.
Rang again, couple of hours later. Complete different story, person at OCS was polite, very helpfull, asked why i was moving and sent my PAC out straight away.
