Have the DVLA got my V5 wrong?

This is consistent then - when you viewed it, it had 3 owners - the person who last had it and 2 previous. Now it has 4 - you, the person who last had it and 2 previous.



Click 'Trust' on my post and my email is in there. I'll check it. I suspect it will say 4 for previous keepers though given on what you've said!

It was registered in August 2004 and has 3 previous keepers.

It is unusual that a Ford dealer would keep a car for 8 months. If I had to guess, I'd suggest it was a pre-reg (or ex demo for a short period of time) that was bought by somebody who then sold it again (or traded it) after perhaps 5-6 months, at which point the previous owner bought it in 2005.

They must have had the last owners v5 from trading it in and he was not down as a former keeper like i thought
