just a quick poll after the other thread.

so dons, can we have a little poll please, with options.

yes, once. Never again.
yes, got caught.
yes, i still do sometimes.
NO, never.

thanks..

Sadly I don't think many people would admit to it even if they had.

I am with the 'never have, never will' people but that's mainly because I don't drink at any other time anyway.

thats why the poll would be nice. its anonymous, so people cant be judged.

No, Never.

Value my life, my driving license, and having read the other thread here today, I like to think that I value other peoples lives too much to drink drive as well.

never driven when knowingly drunk, have the odd pint on a long night so it is a remoet possibility i could have been over the limit

Nope, although I do know of someone who got banned for drink driving 8 weeks after he got his licence, he was still 17.
Crashed the car into a wall and wrote it off.
The sad thing is, the wall was the wall to someone driveway, so he could have crashed into the house.

Just wondering how many of the no never's have gone on a night out had a skin full then jumped in the car at 8am the next day and drove to work?

I have had a pint and drove. Recently dsicovered a pint of premium strengh larger puts you over the limit  . So unfortunately the answer is yes

3 or 4 pints equals over the limit regardless of age. No, just because you weigh 30 stonne and ate 5 roast dinners doesn't mean you can handle your drink, you have still had excess units and are over the limit.

I had an ex girlfriend once ring me when she was drunk. She said she was about to get in her car and come and see me so I said yeah, sure.

She rang me shortly later from the car. I rang the police and told them I was aware of a drunk driver on the road. She got arrested and banned. Evil of me? Probably, but she did boil bunnies ;)
