Recently i invested i 2 x Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 10 NCQ 300GB 6V300F0 SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM..
Thought that i would add them as JBOD's! I Have a Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-SLI mobo! i have never updated the bios.. I installed the two drives on my system and set them up in the bios to be JBOD's that all worked just fine.. then i go to enter windows and i get a msg saying "ERROR LOADING OS"
I made sure that the boot order was good! eventually i got it to go into window's but i couldn't see the drives anywhere.. Most the time it wont let me leave dos till i have deleted the raid set! The other hdd's on the system are all sata1's. Could there be a conflict? Anyone with any suggestions? Will be warmly accepted as i have spent nearly 6 hours
