Having a mare with Razer

Hey guys well I have a Timat 7.1 headset and the speaker cable has not worked since I got them been talking with Razer for weeks, they kept telling me they are out of stock and try again in a few weeks which I said no will try every week. Well now Razer are telling me after all the messing about they will no longer be stocking that cable and perhaps i should look for a 3rd party cable.

Well i think I found a 3rd party cable which I dont think I can link as its with the big river. So I thought I would check with Razer its the least they can do is confirm if it would work but no they wont confirm in fact they said they wont comment on 3rd party items with their products.

So im totaly stuck on what to do guys the only reason i got this headset for the 1 button switch from headset to speakers and I do not know what to do any suggestions please.

The cable in question is Micro Usb to female 3.5mm audio in port.
 
Had problems with Razer support myself in the past, had the sensor packing in on me and they gave me some troubleshooting to do which didn't work by then the mouse started double clicking and they said "sorry it is now out of warranty" (or as good as), no more Razer or Roccat devices for me now!

Maybe try and fix it yourself but if that doesn't work I guess you'll have to mark it down as a lesson learnt? Maybe you could ask for a different product of similar value that way you won't **** out completely?
 
for £1.90 i'd fix the problem,

however you should speak to your reseller.

Also I hassled Razer so much about my keyboard they just shipped me a new one. just arrived one day.
 
I actually got them from razer themselves their CS has just been a nightmare, I am positive I will never get any of their stuff again its just not worth the hassle and stress. Im actualy considering just dumping the lot headset, leviathan, chroma keyboard and mouse and just get another make altogether.
 
Well 3 days since they answered a email and they have answered zero of my tweets, I am one seriously unhappy chappy with Razer.
 
Damn that's bad support, I haven't had any dealings with Razer support but SteelSeries were very helpful with me when I accidentally hoovered my cable up and shredded it to pieces. They shipped me a new one out free of charge.
 
WOW Interesting night guys got a email from razer saying they will progress my request to parts department (I know they already said they not stocking no more). This was followed by 2 more emails 1 of which i think is from a boss saying he has told them to do what ever they can to find the items I need, then the 2nd one saying the part has been dispatched?? LOL o well seems like TwsT was right you need to hassle them to get anything done hehe.
 
Glad you've got a result, but it's sad that it has to come to that, having to hassle to get some kind of customer service, or in some cases have to resort taking the matter to Trading Standards, etc. :(
