having a photographic memory

Dont know if this is classed as photographic or not but I can remember roads very well.

I.e I can , in my head "drive" down a road several miles as if i was in the car, which is kind of weird i guess!

Would be useful if i was a race drvier :P

Strangely enough this with me as well, but i think its mainly because ive driven along them so many times!

Apart from that my memory is useless.

Not sure if it was a photographic memory but i remembered stuff really easily when I was younger. I managed to get 6 Highers without any studying, I simply read the textbook cover to cover the night before the exam and I was good to go. It's a gift that has diminished in effectiveness as i've gotten older :(

My memory is often very audio based. If I'm trying to remember, say, whether I locked the house on the way out then it's the memory of the sound of the keys turning in the lock that confirms it to me.

I do this a lot too, Also I find it really easy to recall things based around songs I was listening to at the time and remember complex words and phrases by the "rhythm" of how I would say them out loud

I guess I have (to an extent) but it's trained. I think because I used to draw, I would look at someones face or a landscape or whatever, put it to memory and could reproduce it on paper later. A tip I have, I look at each corner of any image in my vision I want to remember and then imagine repeating the process when needed to reproduce it.

I think if you had a requirement to remember everything (or more details than you currently do) then you would develop the ability - or not lose it perhaps as children often have the ability.
