Having lunch at work

If they've got a microwave, curry in a can.

:o

While that would work I'd think given the nature of the question you should point out to remove the curry from the can first and put it in a non-metallic container as otherwise you've got fireworks.

As for the original question, sandwiches, salads, soups and wraps are all easy options. The only limits are really in how much preparation you want to put in.

In my placement year at uni, because I was a student bum and couldn't be arsed to make my food, I bought my lunch everyday from various local establishments.

Probbaly ended up spending at least £30 a week on lunch food. Thats £120 a month, which was approximatley 1/10 of my wage.

These days I make packed lunch, and probably spend no more than £10 a week on food items (bread, sandwich filler, fruit, crisps, etc).

It's a SERIOUS money saver and more often than not is a great deal better because you get more for your money and exactly what you want in your lunch everyday.
