Having trouble choosing case.

Hello. I don't know much about cooling or building in general and I am planning my first build.

I'm getting a HIS HD 7870 IceQ which supposedly has a very good cooler. Also I'm getting an Intel 3570 retail version which comes with a stock cooler. I'm not planning on overclocking.

I was looking at the corsair 500r but I would like to save money. For my specs will a cheaper case like the 300r keep my case quite cool? I really value looking after my components I'm open to any suggestions , corsair is just the only brand I've looked at in much depth and all 3 models seem to get good reviews.

The corsair 300r is a perfectly fine case, excellent quality, good airflow, its pretty much the best bog standard case in that price bracket (obvious its big brothers are better in some areas, but that's obvious).

Would also like to direct your attention to the Fractal Arc Midi R2, which should be coming out next week for somewhere around £75. Very nice case with fan controller for 3 fans, dust filters everywhere to keep dust out and lots of airflow options for excellent cooling along with great water cooling support throughout the chassis. Also has a nice window if you want to add some lights inside your case to show your components off. Its basically a midi (same excellent airflow which is considered one of the best) with the fan controller on the top, the front fan mounting is much better (can install any 120/140 fan's you want since it doesn't use the clips the original midi does) and easier to clean dust from the front mesh as it just pops out when you press it. Can you tell I like the R2?

Anyway, you cant go wrong with a corsair case.
