As per title.
This is beginning to drive me mad. I'm only having issues with SF4, no other games are causing me trouble whatsoever.
Basically, the game crashes to Windows with the lovely critical stop beep at the VS screen at random points. I've not managed to get further than 3 opponents without this happening. The critical stop sounds off and the VS screen 'whites' over (I can still see the VS screen). The mouse cursor also reappears. Hammering the joypad does nothing, but as soon as I press anything on the keyboard, it exits the game and that's that.
So far I've tried updated drivers (had the same issue), and also fiddled with all the graphics setting etc, which made no difference at all. I get 60fps solid with the limiter off, and it still crashes with it on.
I'm using a Smartjoy and a PS2 pad, but that shouldn't be a problem from what I can tell.
Any thoughts?
