David Haye weighed in at 222 pounds (15st 12lbs) and John Ruiz tipped the scales at 231 pounds, (16st 7lbs).

Haye said he will knock him out at some point in the fight, and I think he will. :D

Logic would tend to say that Haye will win this one but I think it's going to be a pretty boring fight unless someone gets KO'd quite early on.

Also depends a lot on what Ruiz version shows up. This "new and improved" version or the old mauling version. The new one would most likely get blasted out since he has been staying back more trying to work the jab and throw combinations. Haye should be too fast for that.
If the old version of Ruiz shows up and the ref lets it go on, then it will be a long boring fight and Ruiz could win it.

Expect Haye to win this in all honesty...wonder whos paying for this rubbish boxing match??...am hoping that Ruiz gives him a good fight tho.

Ruiz looks awfully big for weighing 6st 7lbs :D

Haha edited.

He definately will if he keeps that monster ring under his gloves :)

:D I think he will knock him out if he is slow tbh.

Not me. ;)

Haye said on SSN that he will come out fast, and he wouldn't let Ruiz get into his comfort zone, so I'm thinking it will be a good one.

Ruiz has a good chin. He's only been KO'd once, and those David Tua punches would have knocked out anybody.

If Haye can do something similar, his reputation will soar, especially in America. I hope he does it, for the sake of the heavyweight division.

I don't think that Haye needs to do any KOing for the division. Ruiz is a tough guy, and I think that Haye's power is a little overrated at Heavyweight due to how good his power was at cruiser.

What will help the division though is beating a Klit.
