Hi,

My 30" Hazro monitor has failed under warranty. However, getting an RMA and address to return it to is like squeezing blood from a stone...

Does anyone have a phone number for them?

I have been emailing [email protected] with moderate success, I did get a request for more information, which I have duly supplied. I have started pestering OCUK to help me, and have also sent requests to a form on Hazros website.

Great monitor, *ahem*, well apart from the fail obviously, but great when it was working. Customer service seems pretty non-existent.

Has anyone out there successfully returned and received a replacement or repaired monitor?

I'm worried they are not going to honor their warranty and it ends up in the bin, which would be a shame because although it was relatively cheap, it was still a lot of money.

Hazros website says all returns are handled through OCUK. However, when I spoke to OCUK they denied this and said contact Hazro direct. Come on OCUK, you should be doing better than this.

*frustrated*

Try reading this post. These guys have suggested phoning OCUK and getting them to contact Hazro.

I'm really glad OCUK have stopped selling Hazro screens or I would have bought one before seeing these posts.

The email that you have used is the best way and yes it does takes ages for them to respond.

I'm using the 24" model and mine has been back for the firmware upgrade and another issue, so twice in all.

They will get back to you, they're just painfully slow, and sorry I have no phone number, the one they run on comes up as blocked on my phone :(

To report back. Hazro phoned me the next day and I got my RMA number and sent the monitor back. The guy who phoned was knowledgeable and very helpful. As others have said, it takes them a while to get in touch, but they do eventually provide good service.

Now to the next problem... Apparently there is nothing wrong with my monitor at all! Hazro have tested it and it comes up just fine on their reference systems. There is a known issue with 8800GT video cards (which I have) whereby the dual-dvi functionality will stop working, and sometimes it can be resolved by hot swapping the monitor cable between the two available dvi output ports on the card. Anyone else had this problem?

If its less than a year old, the warranty is directly with the retailer and not the manufacturer if that helps.
